Man, 80s, dies from injuries sustained in Wicklow collision

A man in his 80s has died from injuries sustained after he was struck by a bus in Co Wicklow earlier this week.

The collision happened on the Station Road in Bray on Thursday evening.

The man, a pedestrian, was seriously injured in the incident and taken to St Vincent's University Hospital.

Gardaí have said that he died yesterday evening and a post-examination will take place.

A technical examination of the scene has been carried out and gardaí have made an appeal for information.

Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash cam, and who were travelling in the Station Road area between 5.40pm and 6.10pm on Thursday are asked to make it available to gardaí.
