Man, 60s, found with serious injuries in Longford

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a man was found with serious injuries in Drumlish, Co Longford over the weekend.

The man, aged in his 60s, was found at about 7.30pm on 8 November.

He was taken to Mullingar General Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

His last known movements were at Currabawn at about 7pm on 5 November.

A technical examination of the scene has been carried out and gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

They are also keen to speak to road users who may have camera footage from the Currabawn/Mohill Road area of Drumlish between 7pm on Wednesday 5 November and 6.30pm on Saturday 8 November.
