A man has been arrested after a loaded gun, ammunition and suspected drugs were seized in Drogheda, Co Louth.
Gardaí carried out a search at a property in the town yesterday.
They discovered the weapon, ammunition and a quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis during the course of the operation.
The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and remains in custody this evening.
It is understood that he has links to the Drogheda feud, which claimed the lives of four people including that of Keane Mulready-Woods.
Gardaí have said that investigations are ongoing.
