A woman, in her 30s, has died following a serious crash in Callan, Co Kilkenny, on Friday.
The pedestrian had been brought to St Luke's Hospital in the county to be treated for serious injuries but was pronounced dead earlier today.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident, involving a car and a pedestrian, which happened shortly before 9pm.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses following the incident on the N76 at Westcourt Demesne.
"Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 8.45pm and 9.15pm on Friday, 28 March 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí," they said.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on (056) 7775000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station."
