Two women were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries following a carjacking incident in Co Kildare last weekend.
Gardaí said a woman in her 40s was approached by a man who forcibly removed her from her parked car at around 10.45pm on Sunday outside a takeaway on Main Street in Clane.
A woman in her 20s was also assaulted during the incident, gardaí said.
The man then stole the vehicle and fled the scene.
Both women were taken to Naas General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are specifically asking anyone who was on Main Street and its environs on Sunday particularly between 9pm and 11.30pm, to contact investigating gardaí.
Additionally, road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, are asked to make this footage available.
