Louth County Council has announced a major rebranding of its tourism initiatives ahead of the summer season.

The new tagline of 'Out Here, It's Legendary!' will accompany all tourism promoting activities in the county.

The tourist office's Visit Louth website and logo have also been rebranded in an effort to attract more people to the county.

The redesigned logo is said to be inspired by the county's "rich heritage, scenic beauty and vibrant communities".

The refreshed website aims to provide an engaging, user-friendly platform that highlights the county's best attractions, activities and hospitality.

Key features include curated guides to the top attractions in Co Louth, local insights, travel itineraries tailored to various interests, recommendations for accommodation and dining, event listings and a mobile-friendly design for easy trip planning on-the-go.

An event to launch the rebranding took place at the Monasterboice Inn this morning.

Tourism Officer for Louth County Council Sabhbh Ní Mhaolagáin said: "Louth has always had a remarkable story to share, and now we have the perfect platform to showcase it to the world.

"Whether visitors are drawn by our ancient heritage, scenic beauty, or the buzz of our towns and villages, they'll find all the inspiration they need on our new website. 'Out Here, It's Legendary!' isn't just a tagline - it's a call to explore, experience, and fall in love with Louth," Ms Ní Mhaolagáin said.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive of Louth County Council David Conway said: "Tourism plays a crucial role in Louth's economy, supporting local businesses and communities. This rebrand reinforces our commitment to making Louth a top-tier destination."
