A man in his 30s has died in a workplace accident in Co Wicklow.
It is understood that he was fatally injured during attempts to remove a forklift truck from a ditch at a premises in Arklow yesterday evening.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out on the man's body before a file is prepared for the coroner.
Fine Gael TD for the Wicklow Wexford constituency Brian Brennan said: "The people of Arklow are genuinely saddened over this tragedy and we offer our support and sympathy to the family and friends of the young man."
