Man questioned over woman's death in Gorey released

A man who was arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Gorey, Co Wexford has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Paula Lawlor, 32, was found unresponsive after gardaí and emergency services were called to an incident at a home in the Baile Eoghain area shortly after 3am yesterday morning.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination was carried out and gardaí say that the results are not being released for operational reasons.

The man, who is aged in his 30s, was questioned at a garda station in the east of the country.

An investigation is continuing and gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact Gorey Garda Station on 094-30690, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
