A man in his 40s, who was seriously injured in a road crash in Co Offaly on Thursday, has died in hospital.

The crash occurred at around 9am on 14 November on the L2007 Rahan Road at Ballykeenaghan.

No other vehicles were involved.

The man was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, where he died on Saturday night.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 8.15am and 9.15am on 14 November, to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 932 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
