Woman arrested in connection with fatal road collision in Louth

A woman in her 50s has been arrested as part of the investigation into a road collision in Co Louth earlier this year, in which a man was killed.

The woman is being held at a garda station in Co Louth.

On 14 July, two cars were involved in a collision shortly before 9am on the R166 at Annagassan, Dunleer.

The driver of one of the cars, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other car, a woman in her 50s, was airlifted to the Mater Hospital in Dublin with serious injuries.
