Gardaí investigating a serious assault in Co Westmeath earlier this month are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened on Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar between 1am and 4am on Monday, 5 August.
A man in his 30s was seriously assaulted and taken to Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar for treatment where he remains in a serious condition.
As part of their ongoing investigation gardaí in Mullingar are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
They also want to hear from anyone who may have camera footage from the area at the time of the assault.
