A man in his 40s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Co Kildare.
A car and a truck collided on the R448 at Barnhill East, Castledermot, at around 9.20am.
The man, who was driving the car, died and his body was taken to Naas General Hospital.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
The driver of the truck was taken to St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, including those with camera footage who was travelling in the area between 8.45am and 9.45am.
