A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a fire at a premises in Longford town on Sunday 28 July.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at Grafton Court in the town shortly before 1.30am.
The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.
The man who was arrested today is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at a garda station in the Co Longford area.
Gardaí said they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
