A man in his 70s has died following a workplace incident in Co Offaly.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to a premises in Garryhinch yesterday afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
In a statement, the Health and Safety Authority said that it is aware of the incident and has launched an investigation.
