Two men have been arrested after cash and drugs were seized during separate operations in Co Westmeath yesterday afternoon.
A man in his 30s was arrested after gardaí stopped and searched a car on the Dublin Road in Mullingar at around 5.30pm and seized €62,000 in cash.
During follow-up searches at two properties in Co Westmeath, around €20,000 worth of suspected cannabis, along with quantities of cocaine and 'magic' mushrooms were seized.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is being held at a garda station in Co Westmeath.
