A man has been arrested after drugs, designer watches and a quantity of cash were seized during a search operation in Co Louth yesterday.
Suspected cannabis worth €25,000 was seized, as well as three designer watches and a luxury car, along with a quantity of cash.
Gardaí say that in total drugs and assets worth more than €55,000 were seized in the operation, which was carried out by the Dundalk Drugs Unit, with assistance from other garda units and agencies, including the Armed Support Unit and Revenue Customs.
A man in his 20s was arrested and held at a garda station in Co Louth.
He has since been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
