A man in his 40s has died after a collision this afternoon between a tractor and the motorcycle he was travelling on.
The incident took place at around 1.30pm between Aughnacliffe and Ennybegs at Esker South, Ballinalee in Co Longford.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
The road at Esker South, Ballinalee is currently closed, with local diversions in place.
Forensic Collision Investigators have conducted an examination of the scene.
