A man in his 40s is due to appear before Dublin District Court later this morning after he was charged in relation to the seizure of drugs worth over €400,000 in Co Kildare.
During the operation, officers discovered 17kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €340,000.
A further 3kgs of herbal cannabis, thought to be worth €60,000, and 272 packets of edible jellies, with an estimated value of €13,600, were seized during follow up searches at industrial premises in Athy.
Gardaí said investigations are ongoing as part of operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
