A woman in her late teens has died following an incident at the Hill of Allen in Co Kildare.
It is understood the accident happened at a quarry last Friday.
The woman was part of a group of students visiting the area.
Gardaí are treating the incident as a tragic accident.
A post-mortem examination has taken place.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
