A man has died following a road crash in Kilmainhamwood, Co Meath.
Gardaí said that the crash happened at around 12.25am in the Robertstown area. The road where the crash occurred has been closed and local diversions are in place.
The man, who was aged in his 60s, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan, where he was pronounced dead.
Gardaí said that a post-mortem examination will take place at a later date.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued. Gardaí are looking for any road users who were travelling in the area at the time of the crash and may have camera footage to make it available to them.
