A man in his 60s has died following a road crash in Co Meath this evening.
The incident happened in the townland of Mandistown, Drumconrath in Navan at around 6.40pm.
The man, who was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan, where a post-mortem will take place.
The road was closed to facilitate a forensic examination.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have been travelling through the area at the time and have camera footage to contact Navan Garda Station on 046 9036100.
