Three people have been arrested after cannabis and cocaine worth over half a million euro was seized in Co Laois.
€500,000 worth of cannabis and €35,000 worth of cocaine was discovered during a search of a property in the Rossvale area of Portlaoise earlier today.
A man and a woman in their 30s were arrested and they are being held at Portlaoise Garda Station.
Earlier, gardaí arrested a man in his 30s when they responded to reports of suspicious activity in the Rossvale area.
A package containing 1kg of a substance believed to be cannabis worth an estimated €20,000 was seized.
The man is being held at Birr Garda Station.
