A man in his 20s has died following a collision between a car he was driving and a lorry in Co Louth.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm on the N2 north of the village of Collon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body has been taken to the mortuary at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Garda forensic investigators are examining the scene and the road is currently closed in both directions.
