Four teenagers arrested yesterday by gardaí in relation to alleged sexual assault in Courtown Harbour during the summer have been released without charge.
Files will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the case, which centres on allegations of serious sexual assault on three teenage girls at about 12.15am in the Burrow Road area of Courtown on 28 July last.
The four male teenagers - one of whom is an adult - were arrested early yesterday morning and held at garda stations across the southeast throughout the day for questioning.
Gardaí confirmed this morning that the four had been released without charge.
