Customs officers and gardaí have seized over €2 million worth of drugs during an operation at Rosslare port.
The drugs, believed to be cocaine, were found in a horsebox which had just come off a ferry at about 5pm this evening.
A man from the Midlands area was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Wexford Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
The drugs are being taken to the forensic science lab at Garda headquarters in Dublin.
It is understood a number of customs officers from Revenue led the operation, backed up by up to eight local gardaí.
