A man has been arrested following a seizure of drugs in Longford worth an estimated €200,000.
The seizure took place as part of an intelligence led operation targeting a west Dublin crime gang.
The drugs were discovered after a vehicle was stopped and searched in Edgeworthstown.
Gardaí seized what is believed to be cannabis herb.
The man, who is aged in his 50s, was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Granard Garda Station.
He is due to appear at Mullingar District Court today.
