Two members of the same family have been injured in a suspected knife attack in Dundalk, Co Louth.
Gardaí are at the scene in the Doolargy Avenue area of the town.
A number of people are believed to have been arrested.
The injured are a man and a woman, understood to be related to each other, and they were taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with suspected stab wounds.
