Four people have been arrested after a gun was found during a search at a house in Drogheda.
The discovery was made at the house on Oulster Lane in the Co Louth town shortly after midnight.
The search was carried out by local gardaí assisted by members of the Armed Support Unit.
Three men in their 20s and a woman in her 40s were arrested at the scene.
They are being held at Drogheda and Dundalk Garda Stations.
