Newbridge Silverware is creating ten jobs as it opens its factory for the first time to the public.

Visitors will be able to see first-hand the craft of creating sterling silver and silver plated tableware as well as the many jewellery and gift items which Newbridge Silverware is known for.

The company has recently invested €300,000 in enhancing its tourism offering and the new jobs are a result of the investment.

The Kildare-based company has been making cutlery, jewellery and other products at its Newbridge factory since it was first established in 1934. It is now the only facility of its type in Ireland and the UK.
