A man in his late 60s has died following a house fire in Ballytarsney, Co Kilkenny.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire at approximately 10am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
The property is located in a rural area and the man was the only person in the house at the time.
