An investigation is under way into a suspected pipe bomb attack outside a pub in Drogheda, Co Louth, in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred outside the premises at Newfoundwell on the Termonfeckin road at around 3am.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Separately, a car was set on fire outside a nearby pub in the area just before midnight.
