A Co Offaly power station is off the national grid this morning for second time in ten days in a dispute over salary levels.

SIPTU members at the Bord na Móna-owned peat burning station Edenderry Power have started a 24-hour strike after a dispute over bargaining powers for workers.

Workers at Edenderry claim they are paid €15,000 less than staff at comparable generating units.
