Two men have been arrested after 25kg of cannabis was seized following the search of two cars at a shopping centre in Co Kildare.
Gardaí say the drugs are valued at €500,000, pending analysis.
The cannabis was seized during an operation by gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau supported by the Special Crime Task Force.
Two men in their late 30s were arrested during the operation at the shopping centre close to Kildare Town yesterday evening and are being held at Naas Garda Station.
