A man in his 30s is in critical condition following a serious assault in Blanchardstown this afternoon.
Gardaí said the man was found unconscious on the Mill Road shortly after 4.20pm.
He is being treated for his injuries in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Mill Road, Blanchardstown or Blanchardstown village during the hours of 4pm and 4.30pm and who may have camera footage - including dash-cam footage - is asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
