Four people have been arrested after cannabis worth around €7 million was seized during a search operation in Co Kildare yesterday.
Three men, aged in their 30s and 40s, and a woman in her 20s were arrested at the scene following the search of a property in Athy.
The search was part of a number of planned searches in Co Kildare under Operation Tara.
The three men and the woman are being held at garda stations in the Eastern Region.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing.
