Ireland is set to be hit with strong winds tomorrow as Met Éireann issues a Status Yellow warning for the entire country from midnight.
The forecaster said that strong and gusty southwesterly winds could lead to difficult travelling conditions, debris or loose objects displaced and fallen branches or trees.
The alert will be in operation from midnight tonight until 6pm tomorrow.
A Yellow wind warning for Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone was issued by the UK Met Office.
It said that strong winds, along with heavy rain, will cause difficult travelling conditions tomorrow morning.
The alert will be in effect from 6am until midday tomorrow.
Heavy rain is also forecast for tomorrow with spot flooding possible.
A separate Yellow rain warning will be in effect for 21 counties from 6am until 3pm.
The warning will cover Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wicklow and all of Connacht.
Met Éireann said that spells of heavy rain could cause localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult conditions for travel.
