Seven people, including a 16-year-old girl, were killed in road crashes on the island of Ireland yesterday.
Three people were killed in a collision near Armagh city last night.
The three-vehicle crash occurred on the Moy Road shortly before 10.30pm.
Two men, aged 49 and 31, and a 23-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other people were injured, with three being treated in hospitals in Belfast and Armagh.
PSNI Assistant Chief Constable Davy Beck said the families of those who died have been informed and family liaison officers are supporting them.
"One can only imagine the real sense of shock and grief that is engulfing those families at this particular time."
He expressed his "personal" and "heartfelt" condolences to the families impacted by this "real tragedy".
In Co Meath, a man has been arrested after a 16-year-old girl died in a hit-and-run incident in Navan, Co Meath yesterday evening.
The incident, involving a car, occurred on the Slane Road at around 8.20pm. The driver of the car failed to remain at the scene.

The girl was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, but was later pronounced dead.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in connection with the investigation and a car has been seized by gardaí.
The scene on the Slane Road has been preserved for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
Three people killed in Galway, Waterford crashes
A woman in her 80s died following a road crash at Rooaun, near Eyrecourt in Co Galway at around 8.15pm yesterday.
The woman, who was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe.
Earlier, in Co Waterford, a man and a woman, both aged in their 40s, died following a collision between a car and a van, which occurred on the Tramore Road in the townland of Pickardstown, about 3km outside of Waterford city.
The driver of the van, a man aged in his 50s, and a boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were taken to University Hospital Waterford with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
