Status Yellow rain and wind warnings are in place for several counties.
Met Éireann has warned of heavy rain and possible spot flooding, difficult travelling conditions and loose debris during the warnings.
A rain warning for counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo is in place until 9pm.
Counties Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo are under a wind warning until 10pm.
Met Éireann also issued a wind warning for Co Clare which is due to expire at 10pm.
