A number of candlelight vigils will take place this evening in memory of the five young people who were killed in a road crash in Co Louth at the weekend.
The five people who died were travelling in a Volkswagen Golf car which was in a collision with a Toyota Land Cruiser on the Ardee Road just after 9pm on Saturday night.
They were 23-year-old Chloe McGee, from Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan; Alan McCluskey, aged 23, from Drumconrath, Co Meath; 23-year-old Dylan Commins, from Ardee, Co Louth; Shay Duffy, aged 21, from Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan; and 21-year-old Chloe Hipson from Lanarkshire in Scotland.
Plans have been announced for vigils at three Gaelic football grounds in the northeast region, with people being invited to gather for prayer and remembrance.
Post-mortem examinations are expected to be concluded in the coming days, and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
Books of condolence will also be open to the public across Co Louth today in civic offices in Ardee, Drogheda and Dundalk.

Mr McCluskey was described as a "gentle soul" and a "lovely young man". He is survived by his parents, sisters, brothers-in-law and extended family.
Mr Commins, who is survived by his parents, sisters and family, was remembered as "a true gentleman and a cherished friend to many".
Mr Duffy was described as "a lovely lad ... always a smile and something funny to say". Mr Duffy is survived by his parents, brothers, girlfriend and family.
Monsignor Shane McCaughey in Carrickmacross paid tribute to Ms McGee, saying she had made "such a huge success of her life".
Tributes were also paid to Scottish student Ms Hipson, who moved to Ireland to study after graduating from South Lanarkshire College in East Kilbride.
She was a Second Year Quantity Surveying student at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) where a book of condolence was opened yesterday.
Friends also posted tributes on social media, with one describing her as "absolutely one of a kind, the funniest, most gorgeous girl in the land".
Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr Seán Kelly said the entire county was heartbroken by this devastating event.
The road where the collision happened reopened yesterday evening, and gardaí are continuing their investigations.
Three other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
