Met Éireann has issued Status Yellow warnings for four counties from Thursday morning.
The forecaster has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Cork and Kerry from 11am to 8pm Thursday.
Spells of heavy rain are expected, bringing possible localised flooding, difficult travel conditions and poor visibility.
Cork and Kerry are also under a Status Yellow wind warning from 11am Thursday, along with Waterford and Wexford.

Very strong and gusty winds with gales on coasts are expected for the warning, which lasts until 11pm on Thursday night.
Difficult travel conditions, some fallen trees and wave overtopping are also expected.
