A man has been arrested following a road collision in Co Wexford in the early hours of this morning, in which a man in his 60s was killed.
The collision, which involved a passenger van and a 4x4 vehicle, occurred on the N25 at Ballykelly, near Drinagh, at around 1.10am.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Wexford General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
A passenger in the 4x4 vehicle was taken to Wexford General Hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the 4x4, a man in his 40s, was arrested at the scene is being held at a garda station in Wexford.
The road has been closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
