Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport reopened to passengers this afternoon after a security alert prompted an evacuation this morning.
Airport operator daa said some disruption to flight schedules may still occur, and urged passengers to check their flight status with their airline.
The alert was raised at 11.30am, after which the terminal was evacuated "as a precautionary measure".
"The safety and security of passengers and staff remain our top priority," daa said.
Gardaí responded to the scene following concerns being raised about an "item of airline luggage" and requested the assistance of the Defence Forces' Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team.
A message from daa's CEO Kenny Jacobs after today’s evacuation of T2. Safety always comes first.

Thanks so much to all our passengers for your patience and to our teams right across Dublin Airport for the brilliant job they did today. pic.twitter.com/98iayq8cOs
The EOD team deemed the item safe to remove from the terminal, and following further examination it has been deemed safe.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said: "Based on the information available to An Garda Síochána and other relevant stakeholders, this was an appropriate and responsible approach to the situation which was presented."
Dublin Airport and associated access routes reopened for normal operations following the security alert.
Gardaí said no arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Meanwhile, daa said that a software issue, impacting many major airports across Europe, had a "minor impact" at Cork and Dublin airports.
The software issue was unrelated to this morning's security alert.
