Minister for Children, Disability and Equality was speaking to media in relation to the disappearance of Daniel Aruebose in north Dublin.
Skeletal remains were discovered this morning during the garda search of wasteland on Portrane Road in Donabate.
Detectives believe the remains are of missing child Daniel Aruebose, who is known to have resided at The Gallery apartments in Donabate. He would now be seven years of age.
