A man and a woman in their 30s have been arrested as part of an investigation into the 2010 murder of Lee Slattery in Limerick.
Mr Slattery's body was discovered in the Delmege House estate near Moyross, Limerick, in May 2010.
The 25-year-old had not been seen for the previous four days after he visited a friend's house in the city on the night of 27 May, 2010
A post-mortem examination established he had been shot a number of times before being buried.
To date, 27 arrests have been made in connection with this investigation.
The man and woman are currently detained at garda stations in the southern region.
