Toys branded as Labubu dolls, drugs, wine and various weapons have been seized by Revenue in a number of operations in Dublin, the midlands and Rosslare Europort.

During the searches, 200 'labubu' dolls and 374 other counterfeit items totalling more than €90,000 were seized.

Among the counterfeit goods were some branded Adidas, Birkenstock, Cartier, Moncler, Nike and Louis Vuitton.

Gun accessories, smoke bombs, an airsoft sub-machine gun, pepper spray and a nunchuck were also seized.

Around 11,340 litres of red wine, branded ISKAR Rara Neagra, which has a retail value of more than €138,325, and which arrived on a ferry from France, were seized at Rosslare Europort last Thursday.

The drugs seized included cannabis oil, edibles, synthetic cannabinoids, MDMA, Ketamine, and cannabinoid vapes, with 1.59kg of herbal cannabis worth €25,640 and 742 tablets discovered.

The drug seizures were made with the assistance of detector dogs, with the parcels originating in the US, Thailand and the UK, and were destined for various addresses across the country.
