An investigation is under way into the death of a man at a property in Carrick-on-Suir in Co Tipperary.
He has been named locally as Ian Walsh.
Emergency services were alerted at around 3.30am yesterday after the man was found unresponsive at the property in the Ravenswood estate. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body was removed from the scene and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí say they are attempting to establish Mr Walsh's last known movements and are carrying out door-to-door inquiries as well as checking CCTV footage from the area.
Neighbours said that he had lived in the estate for over a decade and largely kept to himself.
They have appealed for anyone with information to come forward, including any road users who were in the Cregg Road area between 8pm on Sunday night and 3.30am yesterday.
Gardaí have asked anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam) to make it available to them.
