The funeral of 56-year-old Kerry sheep farmer Michael Gaine is to be held on Saturday in his hometown Kenmare.
The funeral mass will take place at 10.30am Holy Cross Church in Kenmare, according to a notice on RIP.ie.
The notice said Mr Gaine, who went missing from his farm on 20 March, will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family members and friends in the farming and rallying communities.
Reposing will be held at Finnegan's Funeral Home in Kenmare from 2pm on Friday.
The family thanked the public for their "support and understanding at this extremely difficult time".
They also asked for donations to made to Kerry Mountain rescue and the National Search and Rescue Dog Association in lieu of flowers.
Initially, Mr Gaine’s disappearance was treated by gardaí as a missing person's case. Gardaí are now treating it as suspected murder.
Last month, human tissue belonging to Mr Gaine was discovered in fields on his farm where slurry was being spread by a family friend.
