A man in his 20s has died following a three-car collision in Co Galway last night.
The collision occurred on the R336 at Bearna at around 11.25pm.
The driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was later removed to University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
No other injuries were reported.
The road between Bearna and Na Forbacha is closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Motorists are advised to take the N59 route.
