A pupil from Co Westmeath has been named World Designer of the Year at the Junk Kouture World Final in Dublin.
Clodagh Ramsey was one of ten finalists representing Ireland at the event in Dublin, which sees students from all around the world create innovative and sustainable designs using waste material.
She used over 2,000 waste mussel shells in her design, which she collected from a local restaurant, scrubbed clean and glazed before attaching to lace.
