To mark 20 years in operation, Google Maps has revealed the most-reviewed Irish destinations on its platform.
When it comes to visitor attractions, the Cliffs of Moher tops the list followed by the Books of Kells Experience, the Rock of Cashel and Hook Lighthouse.
The most-reviewed Irish park is Dublin's Phoenix Park, followed by St Stephen's Green, Galway's Eyre Square and Cork's Fota Wildlife Park.
The National Museum of Ireland on Dublin's Kildare Street is the most-reviewed Irish museum on Google Maps.
This is followed by Muckross House, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and the Irish Whiskey Museum.
Twenty years after its launch, Google Maps has more than 2 billion users per month.
The platform provided 1 trillion kilometres of directions in 2024.
There are 250 million businesses and places on the map and 500 million users contribute information like reviews, photos, ratings and driving disruptions to the map per year.
According to Google, there are 100 million updates made to the map each day.
